TRAINING ACTIVITIES

Memorable Learning Outcomes

We facilitate fun and engaging activities for your leadership team, volunteers, and staff, ensuring memorable learning outcomes! Any activity can be integrated into one of our training workshops, cohorts, or used as a stand-alone team event. We offer activities suitable for virtual training, face-to-face sessions, or a combination of both.

Training Activities

Book a discovery meeting with us to discuss your team’s goals.

Houston, we have a problem.

This challenging and popular activity encourages teams to cooperate rather than compete, to share information rather than hoard it and to work together for ultimate success. An out-of-world experience! But how much time is wasted in competing before the penny drops?

Project Planning

Project Planning is an easy-to-use team activity that tests participants’ project management and planning skills.

Escape Room

In this fun and challenging training activity, teams are locked in a room (in theory!). The doors are chained shut, with just 60 minutes to escape! Teams work together under time pressure to crack the code and unlock the doors, or stay locked in forever.

How To Rob A Bank

In this engaging team development training game, participants will be challenged to utilize their project planning and teamwork skills in a unique simulation where they plan a bank heist. This unconventional scenario aims to draw individuals out of their day-to-day routines and encourage exploration of their team dynamics in a novel and exciting way.

Mission Improbable

To identify key lessons for improving communication skills in the workplace through a collaborative teamwork activity.

Pipeline

Get ready for some serious teamwork and communication skills in action! It emphasizes the importance of departments working together towards a common goal. Pipeline will sharpen your collaborative skills by navigating a challenging course as a team. We’ll strategize, communicate, and support each other to achieve victory!

4-in-1 Assessing Key Competencies

These assessment exercises assess staff competencies in four key areas: time management, teamwork, leadership and decision-making – and plan strategies for better performance.

Demonstrating Leadership

The team’s performance will depend on various factors, including the nominated team leader’s ability to effectively communicate the task, provide a clear vision, and encourage creativity among team members. The leader should also empower team members, allowing them to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities. Monitoring progress is crucial to ensure the team stays on track and meets the deadline. If the team leader successfully exhibits these leadership skills and fosters a positive and collaborative team environment, the team will likely perform well.

El Dorado!

An engaging and interactive conference or away-day activity designed to address the issue of a silo mentality within organizations. This activity is ideal for teams or departments that struggle with collaboration, communication, and working together towards common goals.

Leadership Style

In this activity, we will look at different types of leadership, what makes a good leader, and how to leverage your team’s individual strengths.

Lost In The Wilderness

One possible short starter activity that can engage team members, promote problem-solving and decision-making under time pressure is a “Quick Fire Challenge.”

Resilience

Reveal the benefits of resilience for both individuals and organizations. Develop a positive workforce and one that thrives even in difficult situations.

TEAMBUILD

A fun, problem-solving activity with a construction element. TeamBuild! brings teams together to solve problems and work together for a common goal.

5 Steps to Good Decisions!

Teamwork requires certain key elements and behaviors to ensure effective decision-making. These elements include: Clear communication, Active listening, Collaboration, Trust and respect, Shared goals and objectives, Conflict resolution, and Accountability. By embracing these elements and behaviors, teams can create a conducive environment for logical decision-making procedures. They can effectively identify constraints, gather relevant information, evaluate alternatives, and ultimately make informed decisions that drive success and achieve desired outcomes.
